Browns Bride X Ceremony by Parmar Parker Launch Event January 9th 2020
Launching our signature vision boxes at the renowned Browns bride store in Marylebone was an amazing start to what is set to be an amazing year for Ceremony by Parmar Parker. Being invited to collaborate with Browns for the launch of designer Dana Harel into their store on 9th Jan was a huge honour. Being given the responsibility to take over the stores decor, and the evenings entertainment was of course a great undertaking but one we were super exited about. We decided to take the guests for the evening on a sensory journey, just like we do with each bespoke vision box. Selecting an edit from ’The List’ of our extensive services and collaborating with suppliers whom we felt would be a great fit for both iconic Browns Bride and complimenting Dana Harel’s fashion forward aesthetic . Taking advantage of the boutiques beautiful rooms and of course double frontage windows, we decided we needed both floral and balloon installations, a musician, wedding cakes, a calligrapher to write on the mirrors and even a magician, yes a magician. We wanted to create a buzz to the evening and reflect a fresh vibe for a fashion forward bride.
Our edit of amazing suppliers selected for the evening shone, illustrating their artistic talent and refinement perfectly fitting our brief and the setting. The evening delivered a genuine buzz of excitement starting with the windows, a dreamy hanging cloud packed with dried flowers, french lace with the subtle glow of neon light for added edge in one window and the dress window displayed ’L’ shaped displays framing the dresses. Our fabulous florist created complimentary and stunning features which she dotted around the rooms. In reception you were met with one of two standout cakes, commissioned by ourselves for the event. A three tiered beauty in both marble and solid grey hue’s polished off with a luxury hand dyed silk bow, another bespoke commission from a hugely talented artisan who’s ribbons also graced our Vision boxes. On entering the main room which showcased the entire SS20 Dana Harel collection as well as a the beautiful Emmy shoe range, you were greeted by our acclaimed violist playing beautifully modern sounds on her neon glowing violin….she brought tears (happy ones of course) to the eyes of the guests when we turned the lights down for one of her stunning pieces.
Guests then moving through into the next room where met by our commissioned ceiling of silver orbs and a display of four magnificent ’Vision Boxes’ to discover. Each box taking the bride on different sensory journeys including beach, city and winter wedding.
Exploring the moodboard of ideas and items within the box to evoke the feel of the day, including treats and gifts such as beauty treatment and candles. These luxury concept boxes are special, personalised and unique and wow did the guests love to explore them and hear about how we bespoke each to a clients brief. Helping them create concept, colour palettes and ideas to then be executed to perfection by our talented suppliers. We think we can safely say that they were a hit. On into the next room, the guests were able to have our calligrapher scribe on their complimentary candle with their wedding date, initials or whatever they wished creating a memorable keepsake. Whilst they waited, our mind blowing magician entertained with his close up tricks. Of course no launch event would be complete without bubbles and canapés which all the guest enjoyed throughout the evening and the most incredible goodie bag of treats we have ever seen.
